Innovation in York

Markham and Vaughan joined Brampton in establishing their own green development standards and used common sustainability metrics to span the three municipalities. This cross-regional collaboration established consistent requirements for new developments. Richmond Hill, as part of the working group, is expected to adopt these metrics in 2023.
